Kiffmeyer to Add In-District Office Hours in St. Michael, Albertville

Starting in January, the state senator will also be available locally in Otsego and Hanover.

 

The drive to the state capitol to meet with politicians representing your area may be reduced next month.

Minnesota Senator Mary Kiffmeyer, who represents district 30, plans to hold local office hours starting January 2013 for meetings with local constituents.

She said in an email to St. Michael Patch that the move is to "make it more convenient for them than having to drive down to St. Paul."

"I look forward to adding St. Michael, Otsego, Albertville and Hanover starting in January, 2013 after the new year when I have my senate office fully functional," she wrote. "I will set new dates/times/locations as soon as my committee assignments and schedule is finalized."

This month, she bagan office hours in Big Lake and Elk River.

Kiffmeyer welcomes anyone who would like to make an appointment with her to call her home phone at 763-263-3876.

"Constituents are not restricted to their own city locations," she wrote. "I am welcoming any constituent of Senate District 30 to schedule at any city location."
