I'm in my 3rd term elected as Wright Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor where I've been on the Legislative and Finance Committees for 10 years. I was elected by my peers to be the MN. Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Metro Area Director representing the 11 county metro area and have done this for almost 4 years. I am on the State Association Legislative Committee and in the past, the Resolution/Policy Committee. I have a good working relationship with many legislators. I'm also on the Metropolitan Conservation Districts Technical Service Area Joint Powers Board and a Citizen Lake Monitoring Program volunteer. I served 6 years on the Wright County Extension Committee and over 20 years as a 4-H volunteer. I've worked on various political campaigns and boards through the years. I've been a delegate at local and state conventions also for many years and served as an election judge. I've been a Wright County resident for 39 years, 37 of those in Rockford Township. My husband, Leander and I had a dairy and crop farm, where my various duties ran from milking, breeding, feeding, and field work. I did this for 30 years. In 2002, we were awarded Wright County Farm Family of the Year. I am a conservative who does not believe in larger government. I do not believe in raising taxes. I believe in property rights. I have the leadership skills to create more innovative means to do business creatively without raising taxes. I am committed to being available, accessible and spproachable, and then responsive to your needs. I want to make Wright County stronger with reduced business regulation and job creation.
