Open Government, Open House at Albertville City Hall last Saturday

The annual event drew a great crowd on a warm day, as the city showed off plans for the future Interstate 94 interchange (again) and talked with residents from around the area.

The Albertville open house was a success Saturday morning. With displays and presenters from Allied Waste (the city's recycling partner), Wright County Community Action, Albertville Royalty, FYCC, I-94 Chamber of Commerce and more, the information available was great.

Gonzo the Clown entertained kids of all ages with balloons, donuts and juice and a Wright County K-9 unit's presentation topped the morning.

The crowd stayed constant for the two hours of the open house where residents had the opportunity to talk with Mayor Mark Meehan and the council, along with city staff.
