Otsego Resident Sentenced on Stalking Charge: Recent Sentencings in Wright County

The recent sentencing terms were handed down in Wright County District Court last week. Information was provided by the office of Wright County Attorney Tom Kelly.

 

Kaydee Lee Wood, 32, of Otsego, was sentenced on Jan. 4 for gross misdemeanor stalking to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 365 days, $2,950 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, provide DNA sample, undergo psychiatric treatment and follow all recommendations, complete cognitive skill training and follow all recommendations, have no contact with victim or victim's residence, remain medically compliant, serve 10 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Scott Allen Usher, 20, of Elk River, was sentenced on Jan. 7 for probation violations for terroristic threats to 60 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Strand.

Blaine Thomas Nelson, 39, of St. Michael, was sentenced on Jan. 7 for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI to 365 days jail, $900 fine; 350 days stayed for four years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $900 fine plus surcharges, complete intensive supervision program and follow all recommendations, attend a support group, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, serve 30 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Strand.

Jason Michael Lindstrom, 36, of Otsego, was sentenced on Jan. 8 for misdemeanor domestic assault to 90 days jail, $300 fine; 89 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve one day jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, complete batterer's intervention program and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Strand.
