Sentencings: St. Michael and Albertville Area Sentencings for Week of Oct. 3

The following court cases involving area arrests were handed down last week in Wright County Court. Information is provided by the Wright County Attorney's Office.

Andrew Wayne Farnum, 30, St. Michael, sentenced Oct. 4 for Misdemeanor Issuance of Worthless Checks to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 90 days, $700 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay restitution, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Jasper.

Curt Louis Gentile, 39, Albertville, sentenced Oct. 4 for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 320 days, $2,700 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, serve 30 days on electronic home monitoring, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, obtain permission before leaving the state, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Jasper.

Eric John Maurus, 29, Hanover, sentenced on Sept. 29 for Felony Domestic Assault to a stay of execution for up to five years on conditions of probation, serve 120 days jail, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, be on electronic home monitoring until enter halfway house, complete cognitive skill training, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no contact with victim, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, undergo an anger management assessment and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced for Felony Assault in the Fifth Degree to a stay of execution for up to five years on conditions of probation, serve 120 days jail, concurrent, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, have no contact with victim, pay restitution, follow above conditions.
