St. Michael-Albertville Women of Today, Patch Teaming up for Voters' Forum

The I-94 Chamber of Commerce will also chip in for the community information session, moderated by the Women of Today and Patch Associate Regional Editor Mike Schoemer.

The St. Michael-Albertville (STMA) Women of Today will team up with St. Michael Patch and theI-94 West Chamber of Commerce sponsor a Candidates Forum from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West.

This forum will provide an opportunity for area residents to obtain information on candidates for Albertville City Council, Albertville Mayor, St. Michael City Council, St. Michael Mayor, and STMA School Board.

The forum will include brief presentations by candidates and a short question and answer session. Patch editors will be on hand to assist the Women of Today with questions and moderating the event, while also reporting the event for the Patch website.

The evening will conclude with light refreshments and the opportunity to meet with the candidates one-on-one.

The Women of Today does not endorse any candidate or party. We encourage all eligible citizens to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 6. 

Patch will be participating in the even through media coverage and a webcast of the event, to be posted later on the site.

Is there a timetable for when each group of candidates will be presenting?

UPDATE: Yes. The school board will lead off from 6 to 7. Albertville Mayor candidates after that and closing with council candidates.
