Sixth District Review: Bachmann Continues Criticisms of Obamacare

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann also invited district artists to submit pieces to a congressional competition and announced plans for mobile office hours April 10, 2013, in Waite Park.

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) didn't let up in her criticisms of Obamacare recently (see Storify above or at Storify.com).

But she did take time to meet with fire fighters from Minnesota and to issue an invitation for artists in the Sixth Congressional District (which includes St. Michael and Albertville) to submit works of art to a congressional competition (see video here or at YouTube.com).

Bachmann also announced she will hold "mobile office hours" at the Market Place Building, 110 2nd St. S., second floor, Waite Park on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Call her Anoka office at 763-323-8922 for an appointment.

Michele is exactly right. The more the average person digs into this joke of legislation and really figures out what's going on, the angrier they get. We now witness liberals taking runs at this thing, recently as yesterday repealing the medical device tax portion of the bill, something that the liberal media credits Franken bringing this to light, however in reality, it was Congressman Eric Paulson who first sounded off on this. No credit where credit's due should be the medias new mantra. Businesses don't dare question this as they are simply terrified that the federal gvmt will take a run at them, similar to what the Labor Department did with Boeing. What a disgrace this has become. Obama decides he's going to equalize the playfield, so every productive facet that made this country great is now under attack. Private business, hard working citizens, religion, you name it. All in the name of "equality." Equality worked wonders in the USSR and the rest of those communist or dictator run countries, why not here. I applaud Bachmann for taking a stand against this comedy tour. Her and a handful are the only ones willing to stand up against this. Needless to say, that's why such "revered" dailies such as the StarTribune (snicker) takes as many runs at her as they do.

My head's gonna explode!!! Once again, an editor who has to poke at Bachmann to draw anti-Bachmann comments by giving an article about Bachmann doing something good and politically neutral a politically charged title. Can you give it a rest, already?!? I notice the tweets attached that justify the title of this article are from MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AGO. Come on, Wendy, that's really not NEWS, now, is it? You'll have to forgive the somewhat angry, definitely frustrated tone here. Is it a prerequisite as a Patch writer to have a passion to draw and cultivate hate for Michele Bachmann? Sure seems that is the case. Many of us who receive the Patch and read it were just noticing that there really hasn't been any coverage on the Patch about Bachmann for an unusually long time. How refreshing it would be to read only neutral NEWS about Bachmann, without titles aimed at drawing negative attention for the rest of the year, rather than hit pieces. Even those who aren't Bachmann fans have to admit the pattern is obvious ~ no good deed by Bachmann can go without a slam, I guess.

I didn't add a comment about Obamacare because Rick here did an excellent job of it. :)
