U.S. Senate Hopeful Kurt Bills Bringing Campaign to St. Michael Home

The former Republican state servant is challenging U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar in the November election. An open house is set for Saturday night.

United State Senate hopeful Kurt Bills, a Republican from the southeast metro community of Rosemount, will be visiting St. Michael Saturday night for a dinner and open house fundraiser. 

The event will be hosted by known Republican and activist Hollee Saville and her family from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Cost is $20 per family to attend, and dinner will be served by Russell's on the Lake of Big Lake.

Republicans, including Bills, were quick to speak out against that order. 

Saville and fellow in-home providers, including a provider of Bills' neighboring community of Lakeville, filed suit and won a court decision against the vote.

The Saville home is located at 10134 44th Court NE in St. Michael, near Gutzwiller Park. There will be large indoor and outdoor play areas, Hollee said. The Bills' "Liberty Bus" will also be on hand for photo opportunities.
