Upcoming Programs at the St. Michael Public Library

Llama Llama Read-a-Rama and author Stew Thornley are among the April 2013 events at the library.

The St. Michael Public Library is offering the following programs.

Author Stew Thornley – April 11
Author Stew Thornley will give a presentation for adults, teens and preteens 10 and older at the St. Michael Public Library on Thursday, April 11, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Thornley is an author of books on sports history for adults and young readers. He is an official scorer for home games of the Minnesota Twins, and his first book was “On To Nicollet: The glory and fame of the Minneapolis Millers.” He also enjoys visiting the graves of notable people and is the author of “Six Feet Under: A graveyard guide to Minnesota.”

This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. 

Llama Llama Read-A-Rama – April 13
Preschoolers and toddlers are invited to a Llama Llama Read-a-Rama at the St. Michael Public Library on Saturday, April 13, 11:00 to 11:40 a.m.

Celebrate with Llama Llama books, stories, songs, and fingerplays at the library. The attendance limit is 40 and preregistration is required.
