U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann held a press conference on improvements to I.94 and Highway 10, but before and since, national reporters have sought to ask her about her speech at last weekend's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in which she criticized the Obama Administration for its response to the attacks in Benghazi as well as for leading a "lifestyle ... of excess."
On Sunday, PJ Media posted an interview by NextGeneration.TV reporter Michelle Fields in which Bachmann repeated her charges about administrative mishandling of Benghazi as well as her charges of presidential "excess."
On Thursday, CNN aired a video of Bachmann hurrying away from reporter Dana Bash as she tried to ask the congresswoman about the lifestyle allegations—for which the Washington Post's "Fact Checker" awarded her "four Pinocchios."
Meanwhile, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly said, "This is a trivial pursuit, and Michele Bachmann made a mistake pursuing it."
