That's weird...I thought there were some comments here. Why are they gone, and why are you not allowing comments here now? I've never seen that sort of thing before. I was trying to find comments from attenders of the Women of Today thing for local candidates. Is there somewhere else to look? I really don't want to just read what you choose to publish.

Three stories following the Women of Today Voters Forum have been posted and readers and attendees have left comment and feedback on them. We will hopefully have video up from Tuesday night soon as well.

JoJo, Yes, we are doing things a bit differently with the political profiles. It's too easy for someone to say "Paul Turpin doesn't like puppies" or something to that effect (obviously worse) via the comments section, so we're turning them off here. If you want to submit a letter, or comment on the candidate forum story in reaction to what the candidates said, you are welcome to do so.
Paul Turpin October 22, 2012 at 12:00 PM
Just for the record. I love puppies...

Ha! Thanks, Paul.

It's not too late to do your homework on your local candidates. Every vote counts. Here is a link to a Letter to the Editor I submitted in August with my thoughts on local elections: http://stmichael.patch.com/articles/letter-to-the-editor-sorenson-reminds-voters-to-do-their-homework
