Second Annual Run to Benefit St. Michael-Albertville Teacher's Family Set

Friends, family and community members will celebrate the life of Tim Larson with a 5K run in his honor on Sept. 29. Larson, a Middle School West teacher, was tragically killed in October of last year.

A race to honor a man who loved to run--will be coming up September 29. Larson, a Middle School West teacher who was tragically killed last October, ran 15 marathons during his life, and the community is encouraged to participate in the Fire Up 5K run to benefit the Tim Larson Memorial Fund.

Preregistration for the race is now open. The cost is $20 and should be mailed to:

Checks can be made to the Tim Larson Memorial Fund.

Participants whose registrations are sent by Sept. 22 will receive a t-shirt. Race day registration is $25 and t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first serve basis. Registration on race day begins at 8 a.m., with the race at 9 a.m. beginning behind .
