The Academy is a brand new venture for SOAR.

"This is an entirely new program which is unparalleled to anything in the area right now," Ellen Beaudry said last week.

Not only will kids be acting in the musical but they will also be engaging in "Beyond the Stage Sessions." So rather than waiting for their turn to perform, they will be learning the ins and outs of performing arts.

The Jungle Book will be produced by Jamie Cassidy and directed by Ben Ratkowski.

"Jamie is not only the producer of The Jungle Book Kids, but he has also been instrumental in the development of SOAR Academy," Beaudry said. "He is passionate about this program."

Jungle Book Performances will take place February 28 to March 3 at St. Michael Catholic School.
