STMA Falls to Hopkins in Quarterfinals of Minnesota State Girls Basketball Tournament

Hopkins beat St. Michael-Albertville 77-58.

In the class AAAA quarterfinal game of the 2013 Minnesota state basketball tournament, the St. Michael-Albertville girls basketball team lost 77-58 to no. 1 seed Hopkins. 

The Knights of St. Michael-Albertville nearly matched the Royals of Hopkins point-for-point in the second half, scoring 36 to Hopkins’ 37, according to the Minnesota State High School League.  Senior guard Jordan Hansen led the Knights with 15 points, and her only other teammate in double figures was ninth-grader Sydney Tracy who had 10 points.
