STMA School District Website Scheduled for Redesign

The new look is expected to be completed before the start of the 2013-14 school year.

It’s a makeover – website edition.

The St. Michael-Albertville School District School Board gave the green light at its April 2 meeting for the district to move forward with redesign of the St. Michael-Albertville School District website.

The redesign is anticipated to not only have a whole new look, but also be informative and easy to navigate. When it is completed, the website will be more accessible to district staff, according to Superintendent Dr. James Behle.  People within the district will be able to post items, which “allows information to be more current and timely,” Behle told Patch.

Five Technology was chosen to design the new website for $15,800, according to the preliminary STMA School Board April 2 meeting minutes.

Future uses on the redesigned website might include connection with the district’s social media pages, an email newsletter signup for community members as well as a school board module for meeting packets and information.
