With temperatures reaching over 90 degrees Monday, coaches and staff at STMA High School made temporary changes to sports schedules Monday to keep student athletes safe.
The girls tennis match against Anoka High School Aug. 26 has
been postponed, according to St.
Michael-Albertville High School Activities Director Brian Benson. The team
will have a limited one-hour practice in the afternoon.
The football and boys soccer teams moved their practice
indoors to the fieldhouse Monday afternoon to escape the heat. The cross county team will run for an
hour on shaded trails at the Recreation Center. The girls soccer team practiced
in the morning.
