"We scored early and often. It was nice to get everone involved from the start," Hanson said.

In Tuesday night's win they were lead by a hat trick from Annandale junior forward Emily Manninen, four more points for Kasey Blomberg (2-2-4) and three more assists for Allie Olson, both seniors from Monticello.

It was a balanced attack for the 'Hawks, as they had eight different girls record goals. Goalie Amanda Koep also stayed hot, blocking all 11 shots she faced. She also earned her sixth win of the season, which puts her among the top goaltenders in the state.

The RiverHawks face a big challenge Saturday, Dec. 11th, when state-ranked Eden Prairie comes to Monticello. Face-off is at 8 p.m.
