St. Michael-Albertville Boys' Lacrosse Squad a Game from Title

The fifth and sixth-grade combined squad takes on Maple Grove tonight.

A quick blurb on some big happenings in a new youth sport in town. 

The St. Michael-Albertville fifth and sixth-grade boys' lacrosse team has advanced to the division championship - set for tonight- with a 7-6, heart-stopping win over Moundsview Green. 

The Knights will take on undefeated Maple Grove tonight at 6 p.m. at the Shoreview Arena for the division title and a spot in the league championship.

"The guys are charged up and believing in themselves. We'd love everyone to come down for the contest tonight," said STMA LAX director Craig Cusick. 

The third and fourth grade team also advanced in postseason play, but fell Monday night in the division playoff.
