St. Michael-Albertville Hockey Proving There is No 'Offseason'

A full slate of fundraising events, in an effort to move toward an arena expansion, is keeping hockey players and families busy this summer.

For some of us, it is hard to think of hockey in this heat. But the STMA Youth Hockey Association is thinking cool thoughts during these warm days.

Serving more than 400 skaters in the association, sharing the ice with high school and Learn to Skate programs, the demand for more ice time has surfaced. As the numbers in hockey continue to grow, the association is leading the way in fundraising efforts for a second sheet of ice.

There are many exciting community events geared toward this effort. Make your calendars!
