St. Michael Area Spring Sports Open Registration

There is ample opportunity for St. Michael-Albertville kids to get active when the spring hits.

Several St. Michael, Albertville and other area sports associations have opened registration for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.

Here’s a brief rundown. Check out the respective sites for more information.

St. Michael-Albertville Lacrosse

STMA Lacrosse is in its second year, and is opening registration for all boys and girls now. There is also open gym signup for all prospective players set for the next few weeks.

The first open gym is set for Friday, Feb. 10. A special open gym with sizing opportunities (uniform) for boys’ and girls is set for the 17th.

All open gyms are at Middle School West. Girls begin at 6 p.m.. followed by boys at 7:30 p.m.

STMA LAX also needs coaches and officials. More, again, can be found online.  

 St. Michael-Albertville Girls Fastpitch Softball

Registration is available online at the association’s website. Travel-team deadline is set for Feb. 24. Those playing in-house (STMA) must register by Friday, March 16.

St. Michael-Albertville United Spring and Summer Soccer

STMA United has opened registration for the spring and summer recreational soccer seasons.

Visit the STMA United website for more information on the two programs, and to register.

The deadline to register is March 15, 2012.

The soccer club is also hosting a summer soccer camp for U5 through U11 boys and girls from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lower Rec from June 11 through 15. Registration is also available here, on the STMA United site.

STMA Youth Baseball

The youth baseball association, one of the most popular summer programs for boys, has opened registration at all levels.

Links for each age group can be found on the STMAYB website, complete with instructions and information.

There is a late fee after March 1.

 

Hanover Girls Softball

Hanover Youth Ball is looking for girls ages 11 to 14 to play softball. The league is open to girls of any community who are looking for the opportunity to learn the skills and play the game of softball at a level that is fun and enjoyable.

Sign up is set from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hanover City Hall on Saturday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, March 17.
