the St. Michael-based meats distributor that launched to national prominence with its No Name brand, is joining the food truck revolution.
The No Name Butcher Quality Meats truck was unveiled earlier this month, and has appeared in the parking lot each Friday, while also making trips down to the St. Paul Food Truck area, and the Canterbury Park Food Truck Festival on recent weekends.
Brian Willis of J&B told Patch the reception has been good. Two workers inside the truck, both part of the J&B staff, said they're excited to see where the truck might take them.
The menu includes steak sandwiches (of course) with bleu cheese, tilapia filets and other cuts from No Name's repertoire.
Sandwiches are served hot, and beverages are available.
The truck should be at DJ's on future Fridays over the lunch hours. It usually out of the lot by about 2 p.m.
Editor's note: This story has been updated and corrected so it doesn't include this Friday. Patch regrets the error.
