Volunteer Opportunity: Prairie Seed Collection at Crow-Hassan Park Reserve
Help collect wildflower seed for prairie restoration and enhancement projects.
Join other volunteers 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at Crow-Hassan Park Reserve, Rogers, and assist Three Rivers Park District wildlife staff in collecting hundreds of pounds of wildflower seed for prairie restoration and enhancement projects. Training and collection bags are provided.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, or be accompanied by a responsible adult. Groups are welcome but must have at least one adult per eight youths.
The program is for ages 12+. A permission form is needed for participation by minors. To register, call 763-559-6706.
