Volunteer Opportunity: Prairie Seed Collection at Crow-Hassan Park Reserve
Volunteer opportunities are available Oct. 8 and Oct. 12.
Help the Three Rivers Park District by volunteering for the prairie seed collection 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, or Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013.
Volunteers will help wildlife staff in collect hundreds of pounds of wildflower seed for prairie restoration and enhancement projects. Training and collection bags are provided.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, or be accompanied by an adult. Groups can volunteer, but must have at least one adult per eight youths.

The volunteer opportunity is for those 12 and older. A permission form is needed for participation by minors.
