Volunteer opportunity: Prairie Seed Collection at Crow-Hassan Park Reserve

Join other volunteers 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., at Crow-Hassan Park Reserve, Rogers, and assist wildlife staff in collecting hundreds of pounds of wildflower seed for prairie restoration and enhancement projects. Registration required. 763-559-6706.

St. Michael Elementary Dairy Queen Fundraiser

5-8 p.m. The St. Michael Dairy Queen and St. Michael Elementary PTO sponsor a monthly fundraiser. DQ will donate 10 percent of the sales to the PTO on fundraiser evenings.

9/11 Stair Climb ~ Fundraiser for Albertville Fire Department

inFIT/Anytime Fitness of Albertville partners with the Albertville Fire Department to honor firefighters who saved lives in the Twin Towers 12 years ago and raise funds for new fire equipment in Albertville during a  9/11 Stair Climb ~ Fundraiser for Albertville Fire Department starting at 6:30 p.m.  All community members are invited to participate. Friday, Sept. 13

STMA Knights Tackle Cancer Night

STMA Middle School West Football Stadium 11343 50th St. NE Albertville. The STMA Knights take on Monticello with the kickoff at 7 p.m. – it is also Tackle Cancer Night. The MN Football Coaches Association and the Randy Shaver Cancer Research Foundation to raise money for cancer research and patient aid started tackle Cancer in 2012. Bring a monetary donation to the game. Enter the raffle to win a chance to go on the field at half time and kick a field goal for prizes.

Saturday, Sept .14

Craft Fair at Colonial Mall in St. Michael

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Start your holiday shopping early visiting more than 25 vendors at the Fall Craft Fair. 

Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge

1 p.m. STMA Middle School East soccer fields. All boys and girls ages 10-14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2013 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge.  The local competition will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. at the St. Michael Middle School East soccer fields.  Click here for more details. 

Otsego Prairie Festival and Car Show

Prairie Park, Otsego. Starting at 10 a.m. and concluding with fireworks at dusk. The Otsego Prairie Festival has a variety of activities, including the Teddy Bear Band, Petting Zoo and more.
