Deer Hunting 'Widows' Can Find Fun at St. Michael American Legion

While the guys are away, the girls will play. And everyone can play soccer at the new indoor facility Saturday.

While the guys are away, the "ladies" can get out and play this weekend at the Liberty Restaurant and Girll/St. Michael American Legion.

The "Legion" will be hosting a "Dears Gone Wild" Boutique at the restaurant Saturday, which just so happens to be the opening weekend for deer hunting here in Minnesota.

So, with many of the guys headed off to deer "camps" throughout the state, the girls can do a bit of shopping.

Also this weekend, STMA United will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the new soccer facility on Main Street in Albertville. The indoor field, which is about 21,000 sq. ft., features new turf, padded walls and a net. But, best of all, it features a roof and some heat, which means soccer is now a year-round sport for good here in STMA.
