Fall Book Sale By Day, Halloween Fun by Night in St. Michael This Weekend

A collection of some of the top events this weekend. However, there are many more, so dig around the site for information on everything from football to food drives.

There's a little bit of something on the calendar for everyone this weekend in St. Michael and Albertville, so let's get a jump on weekend planning right now!

Saturday- Fall Book Sale

After raising more than $1,700 during the spring sale, the Friends of the Library will be hosting a fall book sale 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26.

The sale will take place in the Council Chambers at the St. Michael City Center.

Thousands of donated used books and media will be on sale. Attendees can buy a “Friends” book bag for $15 and fill it for free or bring a bag from previous sale and fill it for $10, according to the organizations website.

Thursday night - Hanover Wine & Spirits Fall Wine & Craft Beer Expo

Check out Hanover City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night as craft beer, wine and more will be on display, courtesy of Crow River Wine and Spirits and other local businesses. 

Tickets available at Hanover Wine & Spirits $15/per person in advance, or $20/person at the door.  Ages 21+ only (ID's will be checked at the door).

Distractions Halloween Party

Distractions Food and Drink (the old JR's) is hosting its annual Halloween bash with costumes, Karaoke and food and drink specials starting at 9 p.m. Saturday. The event will run until 1 a.m.
