German, Catholic Celebrations in St. Michael, Albertville This Weekend

It’s the weekend. And it’s going to be a busy one. Without further ado, here’s what’s happening the weekend of Oct. 12-13, 2013.
Albertville Church Hosts Annual Festival
Winner, Winner! Chicken dinner! A broasted chicken dinner feast will be served from 11:00 a.m. -- 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at the St. Albert Parish Center as St. Alberts hosts its annual fall fest.

There will also be live music, a few games of chance and the opportunity to catch up with your faith family and friends.

St. Michael-Albertville Rotary German Fest is Saturday
STMA Rotary is sponsoring an authentic German dinner and dance. Featuring a Pig Roast, bierstube sausage, sauerkraut, German potato salad and fixings, German chocolate cake and apple pie. Come dance and sing, eat and drink in authentic German style. Catered by Dehmer's Catering.
Haitian Fundraiser in Hanover
St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover is hosting a Haiti Dinner at 6 p.m. on October 12th. The meal is authentic Haitian Creole beans and rice, chicken breast, fried plantains, salad and cake. Live Haitian music will be played. Proceeds from the meal will benefit the Haitian orphanage (Port-Au-Prince, Haiti) that is supported by St. Paul's congregation
