Tucked into the St. Michael Preserve, a premier development on the city's northeast side, the Preserve Park has many amenities.
A walking trail leads to a playground, pavilion and picnic area.
There are also soccer fields, a youth baseball diamond, full-court basketball and a small hill for sledding.
The park is scheduled for a second phase, which would include a skating rink, hockey rink and warming house.
No timetable has been set for the second phase, however, according to the City of St. Michael staff.
