A walking trail leads to a playground, pavilion and picnic area. 

There are also soccer fields, a youth baseball diamond, full-court basketball and a small hill for sledding. 

The park is scheduled for a second phase, which would include a skating rink, hockey rink and warming house. 

No timetable has been set for the second phase, however, according to the City of St. Michael staff. 

Albertville Central Park

The largest park in Albertville, Central Park is a hub for all seasons. In the summer, the park is packed eachMore weeknight with local softball and amateur baseball games. 

In the winter, the town rinks are flooded and the hockey boards are raised, and the park is a skating destination. 

The park is home to an open skating rink and warm house, as well. 

Central Park is center stage for Albertville Friendly City Days, hosting the carnival each year, and nightly concerts. 

The Albertville Lions host a farmers' market each summer in the green shelter. Produce is sold from local growers each Thursday afternoon during the growing season. 

The park also includes youth soccer fields, a basketball court, gazebo, picnic tables and playground equipment. 

Recreation Center Park

This 85-acre park consists of two parks in one, really, with the Upper Rec and Lower Rec.

The upper levelMore features an adult softball field, three soccer fields, trail, and parking lot.

The lower rec area includes the area's only certified BMX track, a huge baseball field that serves as home to the St. Michael Amateur baseball club, softball fields, a huge picnic shelter and a playground.

In the winter, the rec is home to St. Michael's outdoor hockey rink, a huge pleasure skating area and a warming house.

There are also horseshoe pits and trails in the park.

Gutzwiller Park
Katy Avenue NE, St. Michael, MN 55376

On St. Michael's western border, just off County Road 119, Gutzwiller Park takes up more than 17 acres of land,More featuring a huge playground, two full size soccer fields, a trail system and horseshoe pits.

The park was donated by the Gutzwiller family, whose land is near the current western border of the park.

A second phase is also planned for this park, which would add two hockey rinks, a youth baseball field and pleasure skating area with warming house. No timetable is set for those improvements.
