STMA Middle School West opened as the district's high school in 1992, and was designated as a middle school when theMore district realigned with a new high school in 2009. STMA Middle School West is home to 750 students, and still hosts the district's main football field, track and driver's education program. The school district's offices are located on the far west side of the building, via Door A.

Building on the motto "Excellence is our tradition," St. Michael-Albertville High School is home to more than 1,400More students in 2010-2011.

The current building opened in September 2009 as one of the largest high schools in the state of Minnesota. The facility boasts a performing arts theater that is state-of-the-art, a gymnasium to host hundreds of Knights fans and a community fitness facility that is accessible before and after school hours.

STMA High School is the crown jewel of District 885, and was the final piece to a puzzle that saw the district construct two new schools and revamp its middle schools to accommodate a growing district.

Saint Michael-Albertville Community Education Center

The St. Michael-Albertville School District's Community Education Center is located near the historic church, and isMore home to the community ed programs, GED program and Early Childhood Family Education department.

The community ed center also hosts STMA's "Kids Play Center," a quality, extended day childcare program that is a well supervised environment where children can develop physical, social and emotional skills.

St. Michael Elementary School

The oldest building in the St. Michael-Albertville School District, St. Michael Elementary has also served as anMore elementary school and middle school in District 885. It is now home to more than 500 elementary school students, serving St. Michael's south side. Sheila Bichler is the school principal.

On May 3, 2010, the St. Michael-Albertville school board unanimously voted to approve the implementation of an elementary Chinese language program. Xie Hui (Shannon) started working with students at St. Michael Elementary in the fall of 2010. Students in grades 1 through 4 will have a 30- to 40-minute Chinese class once every six days. The integration of various content areas, such as social studies, science and language arts, allows Chinese to be seamlessly incorporated into the existing student day. Currently, only seven Minnesota school districts (2 percent) offer Chinese at the elementary school level.

The addition of Chinese places STMA in the forefront of world language education. STMA is dedicated to providing its students with the necessary tools to thrive in a global and multicultural economy.

Fieldstone Elementary School

Fieldstone Elementary is the district's newest elementary school and is home to 600 students in grades one throughMore four.

The building opened in 2007 and also participates in the St. Michael-Albertville School District's Chinese Language Immersion program.

The facility is state-of-the-art, with computer labs, SMART boards for classrooms and new technology.
