Rogers Man Nabbed in St. Michael on Warrant: Wright County Arrests

Wright County Deputies arrested a Rogers man on felony charges in St. Michael earlier this month.

Wright County Deputies reported the following arrests over the last week in and around the county. All individuals are charged but are innocent until proven guilty in Wright County District Court.  March 4 Cletis Anthony Chenvert, 40, of Rogers was arrested in St. Michael on a Wright County warrant for 1st degree criminal sexual conduct. Hattelene Renee Martinson, 19, of Howard Lake was arrested in Buffalo on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County. March 5 Andrew Jonathan Athen, 25, of Buffalo was charged with misdemeanor 4th degree DWI. Moving Violation, Warrant Lead to Albertville Man's Arrest: Wright County Police Blotter

Arrests made in the St. Michael area between Dec. 31 and Jan. 7.

In addition to more than a dozen arrests for assault and DWI in the St. Michael area in the past week, several other arrests were made for various charges, including child neglect, theft and disorderly conduct. Wright County Reports 10 Arrests for Alleged Assault in the Past Week

Several arrests for DWI were also reported. Arrests took place in St. Michael, Albertville, Buffalo, Monticello, Rockford, Montrose and Annandale.

Drug Arrests, Car-Deer Accidents Lead Police Blotter

A look at St. Michael, Albertville, Otsego and Rogers arrests and police calls in the past week.

Three area arrests in the past week — in St. Michael, Albertville and Rogers — were on the charges of controlled substance violations. The Wright County Sheriff's Office also kept busy with several accidents — there were 23 car-deer accidents between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2. The following St. Michael, Albertville, Otsego and Rogers arrests were reported by Wright County deputies. Underage Consumption Arrests Rise in Wright County

Summer's arrival means more chances to party for kids in the area, as evidenced by a recent spike in Wright County citations for underage consumption.

June 7 Albertville Fire and Rescue responded to a medical emergency at 9:07 a.m. in the 5500 block of Jansen Avenue NE in Otsego for a female that fell in the parking lot. Albertville Fire and Rescue responded to a medical emergency at 7:45 p.m. on the 10100 block of Karston Avenue NE for a 1-month-old not breathing. The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire alarm call in the 400th block of Dogwood Court NE.  They were cancelled en-route.  June 8  Albertville Fire and Rescue responded to a medical emergency at 9:00 p.m. at the city’s Central Park for a female that was hit by a softball. Underage Drinking Rises in Latest St. Michael Area Arrests

The following fire and arrest records were reported by the St. Michael Fire Department and Wright County Sheriff's Department. An arrest implies only that the person was arrested and charged, and is innocent until proven guilty.

April 28 The St. Michael Fire Department (SMFD) responded to a medical call in the 40th block of St. Michael Parkway W.  There was a possible drug overdose April 29 The SMFD responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Lange Avenue NE for a female with a low oxygen level. May 1 The SMFD responded to a medical call on Interstate 94 for a male having a possible heart attack. The SMFD responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Lange NE for an elderly female having neck and chest pain. Police Blotter: String of Shoplifters Arrested in Albertville

April has seen more instances of people attempting to take off with stolen merchandise from the Albertville Premium Outlets and other stores in the area. Fortunately, most of the perpetrators aren't getting very far.

If there's a familiar call for Wright County Sheriff's Department deputies working in the Albertville area, it's the call to assist with a shoplifting violations. Despite the "great deals" advertised by the Albertville Premium Outlets and its surrounding stores, people are always looking for a better discount, said Sheriff Joe Hagerty in an interview with St. Michael Patch last fall. "It keeps us busy," he said of the Outlets. "However, they've got a great system in place over there with the in-store security, and then the security that's on site during mall hours.
