Employees covered a broken window with plastic this morning to help keep away the cold.
Employees arrived to work at the Albertville Verizon Wireless Shock City Cellular Premium Retailer store to a large broken window. The Wright County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the store had been broken into and merchandise was stolen, according to public information officer Greg Howell. The store is located at 11008 61st St. NE in Albertville. Employees at the store said they could not make any further comments or give an official statement because of legal issues. They will continue to have business as usual, and covered the large gap of missing glass with plastic to help keep the store as warm as possible in the circumstances. Otsego, Elk River, Buffalo and Monticello residents received sentencings in the week of Dec. 3. No St. Michael or Albertville sentencings took place. Information was provided by the office of Wright County Attorney Tom Kelly.
Otsego Michael Alan Munkholm, 28, of Otsego, sentenced on Nov. 29 for misdemeanor disorderly conduct to 90 days jail, $100 fine; 90 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, pay $100 fine plus law library fee, complete 40 hours community service, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Davis. Elk River Tyler Louis Volby, 20, of Elk River, sentenced on Dec. 3 for felony drive by shooting to a stay of imposition for three years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $75 public defender co-payment, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, obtain permission before …

The defendant allegedly stole copper from a former employer in Corrina Township, and sold it to a metal recycling company in Rogers and Monticello.
A St. Michael man was charged about a week ago with alleged third-degree burglary and receiving stolen property, each at a felony level. According to a criminal complaint from the Wright County District Court, Tyler Joseph Wells, 24, of St. Michael, allegedly burglarized his former employer, Rainville Carlson Inc., stole copper paneling worth about $11,000, then sold the copper to Integrated Recycling Technologies (IRT) in Rogers and Monticello. Wells is released on a $2,000 bail, and is set to appear before a judge Nov. 27. Rainville Carlson is a roofing and sheet metal business located in Corrina Township. Wells allegedly stole and sold the copper between August and November, and was arrested Nov. 9 by Wright County Sheriff's deputies. …
