St. Michael Couple, Now Split, Takes Troubles to 'Judge Judy'

The episode aired Tuesday, and the judge's no-nonsense attitude brought laughter from the audience members seated in the courtroom.

The slogan for the television court show, "Judge Judy,"–Real cases, real people, Judge Judy–hit home on Tuesday. An episode aired Tuesday featuring a St. Michael ex-couple appearing before Judge Judy Sheindlin—Adam Mandel, formerly of St. Michael and now of Big Lake, who was suing his ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Fure of St. Michael for a $2,000 loan he gave her to pay delinquient Homeowner's Association dues. Jubal, I see Judge Judy as a smart, no-nonsense woman who isn't going to let a bunch of idiots take advantage of others with their frivilous law suits. This country is sue happy and its sad! We need someone smart, such as Judith Sheindlin, to weed out the ridiculous law suits. There's no reason a person should be able to sue a company when they tripped over their own kid in the store and got hurt…   more ›
