St. Michael-Albertville Teachers Win Education Awards
The STMA teachers were nominated by their school district.
Four teachers from St. Michael-Albertville School District won excellence awards for being leaders in education. More than 150 educators from the state were given Leaders in Educational Excellence Awards by Resource Training & Solutions. From STMA, award winners were Charlie Bakker, English teacher at St. Michael-Albertville High School; Jennifer Robinson, second-grade teacher at Fieldstone Elementary School; Debbie Tibbetts, first-grade teacher at Big Woods Elementary School, and Dawn Tyeitbakk, eighth-grade math teacher at St. Michael-Albertville Middle School East.
