Reward Offered for Information on Murder of Cold Spring Police Officer
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is still looking for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for crime.
Spotlight on Crime announced Monday that a reward of up to $100,000 will be offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the shooting death of Cold Spring Police Officer Tom Decker. Spotlight on Crime is a non-profit organization fund that offers cash rewards to help solve violent crimes. Decker, 31, was shot and killed Nov. 29 while on-duty, doing a welfare check at a Cold Spring apartment near Winner's Bar. He died at the scene. The intial suspect was released from custody after investigators discovered he was "not even close" to having connection with the murder.
