Police Create Perimeter, Catch Theft Suspect in Albertville Thursday Morning
A suspect in the theft of a truck and trailer was found.
Several blocks and business parking lots were splattered with police squad cars in Albertville this morning in a perimeter and search of a suspect in the alleged theft of a truck and trailer. The suspect was found around 9:15 a.m. His has not been released. "I imagine people who live around there saw a lot of commotion," a Wright County Sheriff's Office dispatcher told St. Michael Patch. The Wright County Sheriff's Office and the Hennepin County Sherriff's Office K9 Search Unit surrounded the area near 57th Street Northeast and Kalland Avenue Northeast. Police recieved a report that the stolen truck and trailer was abandoned in that area. The truck was found in Medina, but deputies created a perimeter in search of the suspect. The …

There seems to be a lot of confusion. Seems that there were searches going on over in the residential area behind Casey's, and there was also a very large police presence at the body shop across from City Hall. It will be interesting to see how things unfold over the next few days....   more ›
