Delbert Huber, Man Who Shot St. Michael Teacher, Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison: No. 4 Story of 2012

The 82-year-old man who shot TImothy Larson with a rifle was given the maximum sentence by a Kandiyohi County Court judge.

Mid-afternoon Wright County Sheriffs Office received a call that a man yelled out to a young boy jumping on a trampoline in a home off of Oakwood Parkway. St. Michael Teen Who Rallied Community Loses Courageous Battle: No. 6 Top Story of 2012

Luke Letellier, the 16-year-old St. MIchael-Albertville sophomore who rallied hockey moms, high school students and friends in high places, died Saturday morning after a two-year battle with cancer.

A semi truck pulling a Target trailer left the road Friday morning about five miles west of Albertville and sank into an icy pond.

It was published Jan. 6, 2012. --------- Friday morning's commute was brought to a screeching halt around 6:15 a.m. when a semi driver and his rig left the road, crashed through a series of fences and sank through an icy pond. The crash, which happened near mile marker 197 on Interstate 94, according to the Minnesota Highway Patrol, started in the eastbound lane. The following article was posted Jan. 7, 2012. --------- Firefighters were called to the scene of a huge blaze at the former St. Michael lumberyard location, near the intersection of Highway 241 with St. Michael Parkway in the heart of the city's new one-way pair.
