The St. Michael Fire Department had a slower than usual week — it responded to three calls in the past week.
St. Michael Fire Department calls from Jan. 10 to Jan. 16: Jan. 13 The department responded to a fire alarm call in the 10000th block of 45th Place Northeast. It was a false alarm. Jan. 16 The department responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 36, across from Fox Hollow Golf Course. The department responded to a medical call in the 400th block of Willow Drive Southwest. A female was having difficulty breathing.

Jan. 6 The department responded to a fire alarm call in the 20th block of Central Avenue E. It was a false alarm. The department responded to a medical call in the 400th block of Dogwood Court NW for an 17-year-old male having difficulty breathing. Jan. 7 The department responded to a medical call in the 3000th block of Kahl Court NE. A 46 year old male was having severe stomach pain.
