Clay Sawatzke, Neighbor

A graduate of nearby Monticello High School back in 2005, Clay Sawatzke received his journalism degree in 2010 from Concordia College in balmy Moorhead, Minn. 

At Concordia, Sawatzke was involved in the student newspaper and radio station, and played junior varsity basketball and baseball. 

Sawatzke remains involved on the sports scene as a baseball umpire during the summer months.  

Sawatzke includes meeting new people as one of his passions. He's pumped about his role as a Patch sports reporter for St. Michael-Albertville, home of the Knights.
