Check out a free apple cider demonstration 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 at Eastman Nature Center in nearby Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton.
According to Three Rivers Parks the event includes squeezing apples with a wooden press, tasting the fresh cider as you learn about cidering history and apple varieties.
