It has been the elephant in the room.

Is Pubhouse 19 in Albertville closed for good?

The answer, as of April 4, is that Patch doesn’t have solid confirmation if the closure of Pubhouse 19 in recent days is permanent or temporary.

Reports of a possibly closure of the business circulated around Facebook April 1. A sign in the window of the business read “Closed for Easter.”

Several phone calls and emails to the business went unanswered throughout the first week of April. The Facebook page for Pubhouse 19 is no longer accessible and the Twitter account remained inactive since March 29. However, the Pubhouse 19 website remains active.

The property management company for the Albertville Crossing retail area, according to Wright County tax records, continues to have the business listed as Majors and the site not open for leasing, according to Copaken Brooks website.

Albertville City Administrator Adam Nafstad was unable to officially confirm the status of the business.

Pubhouse 19 opened two years ago in Albertville, transformed from the former Majors establishment. The business is owned by Chuck and Katie Huck along with Justin Long, according to a previous story on St. Michael Patch. The three purchased the restaurant as Majors in February 2010.

Patch will provided additional updates if they should become available.
