SLIDESHOW: St. Michael Daze Parade A Sun-Filled Success
More than 80 entries made their way through the new heart of St. Michael, marching around the Town Center area.
Local businesses, athletic groups and service clubs made their way down Town Center Drive and around to Frankfort Parkway, delighting hundreds of fans with the 2011 St. Michael Daze and Knights Parade.
Saturday's procession was a sun-filled success, with families and friends lined up to catch some candy, soak in some music and wave to fellow residents and familiar faces.
St. Michael Daze organizer Amy Dehmer said more than 85 entries were accepted this year. The parade last about 90 minutes, which was "perfect," according to one local reveler.
